We interviewed the National Sales Manager.
How did they first discover Cognism?
“The first we heard of Cognism was when a salesperson contacted us promoting it. We weren’t familiar with it initially.”
What problems was the company trying to solve?
“We were using a different sales intelligence tool at the time, which we still use alongside Cognism now. But it wasn’t giving us the contact details we needed, only generic emails.”

“We prospect internationally and speak to anyone from CEOs to sole traders that sell on eBay from their homes. When targeting companies, it’s a broad target base of logistics sales leads, from owner to logistics manager.”

“We tend to notice that the team will pull information from our alternative platform because it allows us to search specifically for people that export out of the UK. They will then upload that to Cognism to find the specific contacts and correct contact data for outreach.”
“Alternatively, they’ll search those contacts on LinkedIn and pull the contact information from there using Cognism.”
“Then they can input these contacts into cadences and campaigns.”
How was the onboarding experience?
“We set up specific training for all users, and it was great. The Salesforce plugin was very straightforward and worked well from the offset.”
“When we didn’t quite see the uplift that we were looking for, Cognism provided us with some more training, and then we saw a huge spike in usage.”
