I Tried 10 Lusha Alternatives: Here’s What I’d Recommend in 2025

Written by Ilse Van Rensburg | Mar 18, 2025 11:35:00 AM

Who are Lusha’s top competitors, and what makes them stand out?

That’s exactly what I wanted to know when I started exploring B2B sales intelligence tools.

Lusha is well-known, especially for individual contributors and smaller teams who need quick access to contact data.

But what about scaling companies or revenue teams that need more? I needed a tool with better accuracy, broader global coverage, and reliable compliance.

So I did the digging. I looked into 10 tools that claim to do what Lusha does.

Whether you’re after more trustworthy data, tighter CRM integrations, or GDPR-compliant prospecting at scale, here’s what I found. 👇

TL;DR

Tool Best for Key differentiator
Cognism Larger teams aiming to boost customer revenue growth throughout Europe. Quality international data & strong compliance focus at no extra cost.
RocketReach Teams focusing on bulk email prospecting in the US Speed and simplicity.
Apollo.io Start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises looking for automation features.  Free tier + deep automation.
ZoomInfo Enterprise businesses looking for US data with deeper insights. Enterprise‑grade integrations and filters.
Lead411 Small to medium-sized businesses looking for cost-effective B2B contact information in the US. Depth in US SMB data.
UpLead Smaller teams who want a more flexible pricing structure.  Real‑time email verification.
Saleshandy Cold outreach and email validation. Email sequencing and verification.
Adapt Multi-channel sales intelligence. Wider global database at competitive pricing
SwordFish Real-time contact data scraping Strong for social/email enrichment
Seamless.AI AI-powered contact discovery in the US. Credit‑based search; variable accuracy

When choosing these Lusha alternatives, I focused on what really matters to modern go-to-market teams:

  • GDPR and CCPA compliance.
  • Data accuracy.
  • Integration with tools like Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Transparent pricing.

These aren’t just nice-to-haves; they’re essential for scaling teams that need reliable, compliant data without the hassle.

Let’s take a deeper look at each. 👇

1. Cognism

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.6/5

👤 Ideal for larger teams aiming to boost customer revenue growth throughout Europe.

Cognism is a Lusha alternative that helps you connect with European senior-level contacts.

I tried out the new Sales Companion. It’s a game-changer! Going beyond the AI you’ve come to expect from other sales tools. It’s a sales assistant that simplifies prospecting and saves your team time to focus on closing your most promising deals.

Cognism is also very easy to use. It ensures you always have the best companies and contacts at your fingertips, with the added bonus of daily updates and Signals to boost conversions like never before.

One of Cognism’s standout features is AI Search. It offers three routes to prospecting to save reps (even more) time: text-to-command search, direct prospect or account search, and voice search.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Sales Companion for personalised access to in-depth account data to ensure fresh and fast outreach.
  • Phone-verified cell phone numbers to help you connect with 87% of your list.
  • Exclusive on-demand verified cell phone and email data set Diamond Data®.
  • API enrichment and on-demand CSV enrichment.
  • Intent data by Bombora.
  • International coverage: EMEA, NAM, APAC.
  • Easy platform setup.
  • Integrations with CRMs and sales engagement tools.
  • Focus on quality GDPR and CCPA-compliant data with DNC scrubbing in 13 countries.
  • Find prospects using ChatGPT-style textual or voice prompts with Cognism AI Search.
  • Cortex AI company research to learn about the business model, strategy, competitors and revenue of your target account.
  • Fast and friendly support team.

Pricing:

  • Two packages to choose from: Grow and Elevate (Elevate includes Signals).
  • All packages include contact and company data, including our phone-verified Diamond Data® contacts, target market analytics and integrations to leading CRM and engagement tools.
  • No extra charge for access to global and regional data — NAM, EMEA, and APAC are included in all packages.
  • Diamonds on Demand and intent data powered by Bombora as add-ons.

Who is better: Cognism vs Lusha

Cognism is a premium sales intelligence platform that offers verified direct dials, mobile numbers, and intent data, making it highly effective for outbound sales teams. It has a strong global presence, is GDPR and CCPA-compliant and includes DNC list checking in 13 countries.

In contrast, Lusha is a lighter, more budget-friendly solution that provides direct contact details, mainly for North America. While its Chrome extension makes it easy to find emails and phone numbers on LinkedIn, its data accuracy and compliance measures are not as established as Cognism’s.

What’s more, Lusha offers a credit-based pricing system and reserves its core prospecting capabilities (e.g., CRM integrations and DNC filtering) for higher-priced packages.

Cognism offers unrestricted data views and page-level exports.* This limits the need to buy more credits and supports dial-heavy users. Moreover, all packages include key capabilities and features, including DNC list checking.

For businesses prioritising legally compliant, high-quality data and enterprise-level support, Cognism is the better choice.

For a more detailed comparison, see Cognism’s Lusha vs Cognism page.

Reviews:

“Cognism has completely transformed how I build my pipeline. The data is clean, accurate, and up to date. Easily the best tool I’ve used for booking meetings consistently.” (Trustpilot)

“I’ve had a great experience using Cognism! The platform has significantly streamlined our lead generation process and helped us connect with high-quality prospects more efficiently."

"The data accuracy and depth are impressive, and the support team is always responsive and helpful. It’s clear that Cognism is built with sales professionals in mind — it’s intuitive, effective, and truly delivers results. Highly recommend to any teams looking to scale their outreach and improve their targeting.” (Trustpilot)

“We’ve definitely seen results improve since we switched from Lusha to Cognism. I save maybe 30 minutes to an hour a day, but more than anything, I spend more time on the platform compared to Lusha because I know I’m more likely to get results from it.” (Lockton)

2. RocketReach

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.5/5

👤 Ideal for teams focusing on bulk email prospecting in the US.

RocketReach is a sales intelligence tool that provides salespeople access to personal and professional emails, phone numbers, and social media profiles.

I liked the clean interface. It has decent accuracy, especially for individual contributors and recruiters. It’s great for quick wins, but there are limited enrichment features, and there’s no phone verification service.

It’s also worth noting that the integrations and type of data you get are based on your chosen package.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Intent data (although it’s Foundry).
  • Org charts and company trends.
  • CRM Enrich.

Pricing:

RocketReach pricing includes three packages: Essentials, which only includes emails. Pro and Ultimate, which include email and phone.

Who is better: RocketReach vs Lusha

RocketReach is often used for one-off lookups or bulk contact enrichment. While Lusha offers a similar service, it primarily functions as a LinkedIn-based extension with a more limited database.

RocketReach does not mention having DNC list filtering; Lusha only offers this on higher-tier packages. What’s more, neither tool has a verification-on-demand service (a feature that Cognism delivers). For businesses that need a scalable, legally compliant, and high-quality data solution, Cognism is an excellent choice.

Reviews:

“Didn’t have enough credits, so stopped me fully doing my job but good tool.” (Trustpilot)

“My overall experience was fair in that it gives you value for money because it is cheap and affordable. Despite some minor challenges (coverage and accuracy), it does serve the purpose for which it was created and produces some good results.” (Capterra)

3. Apollo.io

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.6/5/5

👤 Ideal for start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises looking for automation features.

Number three on my list of Lusha alternatives is Apollo.io. It’s lead-generation software that facilitates effective prospecting.

It’s nice to have prospecting and engagement in one place. But I’d always double-check contact validity before deploying at scale, especially in US SMB data.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Sequence automation.
  • Buying intent and intent filters.
  • Data enrichment.
  • Sales call transcriber, analyser, and insight extractor.

Pricing:

Apollo.io charges per user per month, and you need credits to access data. You can choose between Free, Basic, Professional, and Organization packages.

You’ll find accurate Apollo.io pricing information on the website.

Who is better: Apollo.io vs Lusha

Apollo combines contact data with automation features, allowing businesses to build email sequences and track engagement. While Lusha is more focused on simple data retrieval, Apollo provides additional tools for email outreach and workflow automation.

However, Apollo’s data accuracy is questionable in certain regions, and its compliance standards aren’t as stringent as Cognism’s.

Cognism offers higher data accuracy, real-time compliance screening, and stronger integrations, making it the preferred option for regulated industries and global teams.

According to the latest Forrester Wave report, Cognism outperformed Apollo in terms of contact data quality, security, and compliance.

Check out a comprehensive comparison between Apollo.io and Cognism.

Reviews:

An independent survey of GTM leaders found that Apollo.io’s direct dials, mobiles, and email verification could be improved. (TechStartups)

“Love the software and enjoy learning how to use it.” (Trustpilot)

“I had high expectations for Apollo.io, but it has been disappointing. The phone data is unreliable, and the platform loses much of its value without accurate contact information. On top of that, customer service is nonexistent, making it difficult to resolve issues. While the pricing is reasonable, you don’t get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend it for those who need quality phone numbers for outreach.” (Capterra)

“I wanted to keep costs down at SUB1, so I was happy to get good deals with Tami and Apollo. However, they both lacked accurate contact data.” (SUB1)

4. ZoomInfo

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.1/5

👤 Best for Enterprise businesses looking for US data with deeper insights.

Another good alternative to Lusha is ZoomInfo.  It provides various business intelligence tools for sales, marketing, recruitment, and operations, and the company and contact search offers detailed insights into company profiles.

I didn’t like that some functionalities are only available with higher-tier plans, and accessing global data incurred additional costs.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Web form optimisation.
  • Website visitor tracking.
  • Digital advertising.
  • Buyer intent.

ZoomInfo pricing:

ZoomInfo pricing must be requested from the website and follows individual pricing tiers for sales, marketing, and recruitment. Seats, credits, and supplementary tools also affect cost.

Who is better: ZoomInfo vs Lusha

ZoomInfo provides detailed company insights, technographics, and intent data, making it a popular choice for large enterprises.

Lusha offers contact details via a straightforward interface, which makes it attractive for teams with simple prospecting requirements. However, its database is less extensive than ZoomInfo’s.

Moreover, Forrester pointed out that Lusha’s partner ecosystem and global support infrastructure are not as advanced as those of its leading competitors and lack substantial enrichment capabilities.

Here’s a comprehensive comparison of Lusha and ZoomInfo.

A competitor of ZoomInfo that outperformed Lusha is Cognism, particularly in terms of contact data. Users noted that Lusha’s global support could be improved, whereas Cognism achieved a Customer Satisfaction score of 100% for its support tickets and Live Chat.

Cognism provides unrestricted data access and page-level exporting features, reducing the need to purchase additional credits, which benefits users who rely heavily on dial services. Additionally, all of their packages come with essential functionalities, including DNC list checking for twelve different countries.

For a comprehensive comparison of Cognism and ZoomInfo, check out the detailed overview.

Reviews:

“We previously used ZoomInfo and saw contact information accuracy rates of around 50%.” (Bright Network)

Good data, good customer support.” (Trustpilot)

“I’ve been a Zoominfo user in the last two companies I’ve been with. Although it’s not the cheapest platform, it does a good job in finding the companies and contacts I need.” (Capterra)

5. Lead411

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.1/5

👤 Ideal for small to medium-sized businesses looking for cost-effective B2B contact information in the US.

The next Lusha competitor is Lead411, a B2B data platform that provides verified contact and account information for lead generation.

I found that mobiles in North America are pretty good. However, this tool may become expensive compared to Lusha because credits are needed on plans other than its custom Unlimited package.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Buyer intent data.
  • CRM Enhancer.
  • Lead scoring.
  • Multi-channel campaigns.

Pricing:

Lead411 offers monthly and annual plans. Depending on the duration, you can choose between Basic, Pro, and Unlimited. Up-to-date pricing is available on its website.

Who is better: Lusha vs Lead411

Lead411 offers B2B contact data with intent insights, helping sales teams identify prospects more likely to convert. It is more affordable than Lusha and includes features like trigger alerts for prospect activity.

However, Lead411’s coverage is better for US prospecting, and its compliance standards are less strict than Cognism's. For teams that need accurate, legally compliant, and scalable data, Cognism remains a great choice.

Learn more about Cognism vs Lead411.

Reviews:

“Easy to navigate. I am able to teach basics of this program to new hires quickly, and they master the skills in a flash, which helps them get to work faster & grow revenue.” (Capterra)

6. UpLead

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.7/5

👤 Ideal for smaller teams who want a more flexible pricing structure.

UpLead is B2B prospecting platform sales teams use to find accurate B2B contact data. It gathers information by examining public sources and enhancing it with data from third-party providers. Contacts are categorised based on job title, location, company size, and industry.

I like that you aren’t charged a credit if a contact isn’t valid.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Data enrichment.
  • Technographics.
  • Intent data.
  • Chrome Extension.

Pricing:

UpLead provides monthly single-user pricing tiers, including Essential and Plus, and a multi-user annual package called Professional.

Precise pricing information for UpLead can be requested directly from the website.

Who is better: Lusha vs UpLead

Unlike Lusha, which operates on a credit-based system, UpLead pricing is also credit-based but offers flexible pay-as-you-go pricing, making it attractive for smaller teams.

Reviews:

“The tool is easy to use, and the pricing is transparent. It’s pretty intuitive, but they offer a personalised introduction with live Q&A. I was pleasantly surprised to learn their online help was an actual person and not a bot. Ideal for our small business.” (Capterra)

7. Saleshandy

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.5/5

👤 Ideal for Outbound SDRs or small sales teams doing email prospecting without a dedicated sales platform.

Saleshandy is an AI-assisted cold outreach platform for generating leads, booking meetings, and business scaling.

This Lusha alternative is technically not a data provider; it works well with lists from other platforms and helps with deliverability. That said, I wouldn’t use it instead of a data platform, but paired with a strong database, it’s perfect for keeping bounce rates low.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Email warm-up.
  • Inbox radar.
  • Sequence score.
  • Auto follow-ups.

Pricing:

Four packages to choose from: Outreach, Pro, Scale and Scale Plus. Starting at $25 a month.

Who is better: Lusha vs Adapt.io

Adapt.io has a broader range of features than Lusha. It provides sales intelligence with multi-channel prospecting features, including email, phone, and LinkedIn data.

Cognism delivers better international coverage, more accurate phone numbers, and GDPR-compliant data, making it the best option for scaling B2B sales teams.

Reviews:

“The overall experience wasn’t bad, just not outstanding. It was straightforward to use, but not the most advanced. The built-in contact verification was really handy.” (Capterra)

“Saleshandy app is efficient and easy to use. After-sales/technical service is helpful and quick.” (Trustpilot)

8. Adapt.io

🌟 Capterra rating: 4.3/5

👤 Best for multi-channel sales intelligence.

Adapt.io is a data provider and Lusha competitor that provides B2B data via easy-to-use software. Sales and marketing professionals use it to generate leads, tailor interactions, and execute go-to-market strategies.

It’s a decent starter option, but not one I’d rely on at scale or for high-touch prospecting. I also found it lacked advanced filters and enrichment depth.

Features I enjoyed:

  • CSV and CRM export.
  • Lead scoring.
  • Data enrichment.
  • Chrome extension.

Pricing:

You’ll need to fill in a form to request pricing information from Adapt.

Reviews:

A reviewer on G2 said that the tool was a good experience. Another mentioned inconsistent data quality

9. Swordfish

🌟 Trustpilot rating: 3.9/5

👤 Ideal for real-time contact data scraping.

SwordFish is a US-based contact search engine for enterprise recruitment and sales teams. It’s CCPA-aligned. The platform may not be fully GDPR-compliant and includes personal emails as part of its offering.

I found this platform to be quite niche. When you need to find that one prospect’s direct line, Swordfish sometimes delivers when others don’t.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Credit rollover.
  • Reverse search.
  • Bulk enrichment.
  • Chrome extension.

Pricing:

SwordFish has three pricing plans: Starter, Starter Plus, and Custom. All are credit-based and charge per user per month.

The most up-to-date pricing can be viewed on SwordFish’s website.

Who is better: Lusha vs SwordFish

Swordfish is a data scraping tool that pulls contact details from social media and public sources. While Lusha provides similar services via LinkedIn, Swordfish has real-time lookup capabilities.

However, its reliance on publicly available data limits its accuracy and compliance, making it riskier for businesses in regulated industries. Cognism ensures its data is accurate and legally compliant, making it a safer and more reliable option for serious sales teams.

Reviews:

Reviewers on G2 mention that the tool is easy to use and works on LinkedIn. A few mention data inaccuracies.

10. Seamless.AI

🌟 Trustpilot rating: 4.2/5

👤Ideal for AI-powered contact discovery in the US.

Seamless.AI uses AI to scour the web for lead-generation information. As a competitor to Lusha, Seamless.AI offers free credits for users interested in trying out the platform before committing. Additionally, the company gathers data submitted by customers to enhance its database.

I thought it was decent if you’re building lists fast, but I’d always verify before launching a campaign because the accuracy is hit or miss.

Features I enjoyed:

  • Pitch intelligence.
  • Sales script writer add-on.
  • Data enrichment add-on.
  • Buyer intent data add-on.
  • Enterprise security.

Pricing:

Seamless.AI pricing packages include Free, Pro, and Enterprise. The pricing is based on credits and the required number of user seats.

Who is better: Lusha vs Seamless.AI

Lusha is easier to use, while Seamless.AI users have reported data quality issuesThat said, Seamless.AI is ideal for teams prioritising automation over data comprehensiveness.

But here’s the thing:

Cognism might suit your business needs better.

Here’s why:

Cognism has an extensive senior-level contact database in the European market, with the added benefit of phone-verified mobiles and an AI-search feature that speeds up prospecting by 74%.

Seamless doesn’t offer phone-verified mobiles, and its data is geared toward the US, claiming the tool is unsuitable for use outside of the US.

Reviews:

It is easy to navigate and find the information that you are looking for. You can also get the social media connections you need to contact.” (Capterra)

Why I Chose Cognism as the Best Lusha Alternative

After testing all these tools, Cognism stood out as the most complete and reliable alternative to Lusha, especially for teams that care about compliance, data quality, and global reach.

While other platforms had strengths, such as Apollo’s free tier, UpLead’s accuracy, and ZoomInfo’s depth, Cognism consistently delivered what I needed: clean, GDPR-compliant data, signal data to focus my outreach, and a user experience that didn’t slow me down.

It’s not the cheapest, but if you’re scaling a revenue team and want to get serious about quality data, Cognism is a solid long-term play.
